Pera Museum's Turkish Music Concerts series continues with a program celebrating “Ottoman Mosaic”. Programmed by consultant Prof. Dr. Alâeddin Yavaşca and coordinated by Sinan Sipahi, the Turkish Music Concerts highlight great composers and their works, underlining the different periods of Turkish music from the historical, cultural, traditional, sociological, anthropological, philosophical, and literary aspects.

Born on October 25, 1881 in Malaga, Spain, Pablo Picasso’s full name takes about two lines: Pablo Diego José Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno María de los Remedios Cipriano de la Santísima Trinidad Martyr Patricio Clito Ruíz y Picasso.
Pera Museum, in collaboration with Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV), is one of the main venues for this year’s 15th Istanbul Biennial from 16 September to 12 November 2017.
Nam June Paik was video art’s pioneer (1932 –2006). It is interesting that while Warhol and Nameth were experimenting with psychedelic happenings that combined rock, film and performance, the video art pioneers Nam June Paik, Stephen Beck, Eric Siegel and Steina Vasulka were researching in a similar direction.
