The exhibition highlighted the orientalist trend in Polish painting, as well as drawings and graphic arts. The works in the exhibition covered a wide period from the 17^th to the early 19^th centuries.

Pera Museum hosted, for the first time in Turkey, an exhibition on one of the art world’s hottest topics – Graffiti and Street Art. Work from America and Europe were exhibited, providing interesting examples examining the concept of ‘graffiti’ and ‘bringing the street to the museum’, as well as creating a platform for discussion and debate.

Stephen Chambers: The Big Country and Other Stories exhibition, curated by Edith Devaney, Curator of Contemporary Projects at the Royal Academy of Arts, London, presented a survey of Stephen Chambers’ painting and graphic works, shown alongside his vast multi-part print, The Big Country.

Pera Museum was pleased to announce its new spring exhibition Andy Warhol: Pop Art for Everyone. The exhibition was composed of selected works of Andy Warhol from the Zoya Museum Private Collection in Slovakia, Modra. Included in the show were silkscreen series and drawings exhibited for the first time in Turkey, iconic works such as Campbell’s Soup, Cowboys and Indians, Endangered Species, and Flowers, accompanied by portraits of well-known important figures.

The glass artists hailing from Northern European countries, presented us here in İstanbul with contemporary interpretations of glass, a material inherited from past cultures.
