Visit Osman Hamdi Bey’s working space and step into his painting "The Tortoise Trainer".

On the occasion of its 15^th anniversary, Pera Museum is presenting a video titled Voronoi by the artist collective oddviz, inspired by Suna and İnan Kıraç Foundation’s Kütahya Tiles and Ceramics Collection. 

Pera Museum presents Özcan Ertek’s interactive sound installation Acoustic Horizon, inspired by the Suna and Inan Kıraç Foundation Orientalist Painting Collection. The installation plays soundscapes driven from the paintings in the Intersecting Worlds: Ambassadors and Painters exhibition, using an electronic compass that operates according to the direction of the horn. The project launches with a live performance by Özcan Ertek, where he will be playing this instrument.

Pera Museum presented virtual event series “Plastik Düşler Sahnesi” (Stage of Plastic Dreams) in collaboration with HYPERCORTEX and with the support of the British Council.

Inspired by its Anatolian Weights and Measures Collection, a contemporary video installation by the artist Nicola Lorini, titled For All the Time, for All the Sad Stones at the gallery that hosts the Collection.

New Sounds is a musical project aims to re-explore the museum collections through different modes of expression inspired by Suna and İnan Kıraç Foundation collections.

Pera Museum presented a month-long durational performance: A Handful of Rights by artist Aslı Uludağ. Inspired by Suna and Inan Kıraç Foundation Anatolian Weights and Measures Collection exhibition, and took place over a month in the exhibition gallery of Intersecting Worlds: Ambassadors and Painters, the performance A Handful of Rights revisited the Universal Declaration of Human Rights on its 70th anniversary.

Pera Museum’s performance project Look Again presented in collaboration with Performistanbul celebrated the art of performance as well as the visitor experience through the museum’s collection exhibitions. 

Inspired by the Pera Museum’s Anatolian Weights and Measures Collection, this project consisted of 3d animations installed in the collection exhibition.

In 2015 Pera Museum celebrated its 10th anniversary. To commemorate this celebration, the museum commissioned Canadian artists Caitlind r.c. Brown and Wayne Garrett to create a special and inspiring artwork for the museum’s façade.
