Curators in Conversation with the Artists

As part of the exhibition Cold Front from the Balkans Pera Museum is presenting a discussion with the curators Ali Akay and Alenka Gregorič and with the artists Mladen Miljanović, Lana Čmajčanin, Raša Todosijević, IRWIN and Ivan Moudov. The talk will focus on the art and history of the Balkan region as well as the artists’ works.

Free of admissions, drop in. This event will take place in the auditorium. The talk will be in English with simultaneous Turkish translation.

Portraits and Other Fictions from the ”la Caixa” Contemporary Art Collection” examined portraiture, one of the oldest artistic genres, through a significant number of works of our times. Paintings, photographs, sculptures and videos shaped a labyrinth of gazes that invite spectators to reflect themselves in the social mirror of portraits.
