In the workshop, which brings together Isabel Muñoz's experimental printing techniques, and the multi-layered conceptual framework of the Istanbuls Today, the participants tour both exhibitions. Then, while thinking about memory, they applied the materials, objects, and negatives they created about the city on different surfaces. In the workshop conducted by Elçin Acun and Mert Çağıl Türkay, the cyanotype printing technique (also called blueprint) is used.

About Elçin Acun
Born in Izmir in 1982, Elçin Acun is an artist and academician who produces lens-based conceptual works. Acun, who completed her master's degree at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Photography Department, continues and works at the same department for Proficiency in Art. The works of the artist, who makes performative emphases on her own body, are shaped around ideas of body, gender, public and private space, visibility, woman and queer, which also include the questioning of being socially in her own life dynamic. She has held various solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad. Living in Istanbul, Acun is one of the founding members of KOLI Art Space, an independent queer art initiative, and a member of PLATFORM by GAPO.
About Mert Çağıl Türkay B
orn in 1987 in Istanbul, Mert Çağıl Türkay completed his undergraduate, graduate and artistic proficiency education at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Department of Photography. He has participated in many national and international exhibitions and workshops such as "International Print Triennial / Interfaces", "Realm- Eyes On / Monat der fotografie Wien", "Mamut Art Project", "TÜYAP Art Fair", "Aspects of Balkan Photography". He produces photography, alternative photo printing techniques, installation and video projects. He uses alternative photographic printing techniques that can convey contemporary and avant-garde images that emerge emotionally and symbolically through the manipulation of tonality, texture, materials and details. In his works, the emphasis on queer theory and gender, the body-power relationship and the use of the body for protest are mostly seen.
