Could there be life on other planets? If there was one, what kind of living things would it be home to? What would your imaginary planet look like? And is it possible that some planets in our galaxy shine like stars in the sky? With inspiration from the works of Etel Adnan who opens up a deep space of discovery and interpretation for the audience with her imaginary planets and satellites in the sky, and impressive energy, we imagine what the planets and celestial bodies in our galaxy look like and create a model of our Solar System with materials including card box, paints, scissors, thread, and glue. On Father’s Day this year, we are inviting kids and their parents to design a Solar System model.

In 1998 Ben Jakober and Yannick Vu collaborated on an obvious remake of Marcel Duchamp’s Roue de Bicyclette, his first “readymade” object. Duchamp combined a bicycle wheel, a fork and a stool to create a machine which served no purpose, subverting accepted norms of art.
