Children embark on a guided tour of Isabel Muñoz: A New Story and are transported back in time through storytelling, learning about the history of paint production. Then, they produce their paints using natural materials like herbs and spice powders, employing methods from before the oil painting era. They then draw and colour prominent motifs they encounter in the exhibition using their produced paints.

Over the years of 1864 through 1876, Stanisław Chlebowski served Sultan Abdülaziz in Istanbul as his court painter. As it was, Abdülaziz disposed of considerable artistic talents of his own, and he actively involved himself in Chlebowski’s creative process, suggesting ideas for compositions –such as ballistic pieces praising the victories of Turkish arms.
Józef Brandt harboured a fascination for the history of 17th century Poland, and his favourite themes included ballistic scenes and genre scenes before and after the battle proper –all and sundry marches, returns, supply trains, billets and encampments, patrols, and similar motifs illustrating the drudgery of warfare outside of its culminating moments.
