Have you heard of the different names Istanbul had in different periods? Did you know that there is a legend about how the Bosphorus was formed? In this workshop, we hear the story about how Istanbul was first established and study the structures that still stand from Constantinople, the city of Constantine. After participating in a guided 3D tour of our exhibition, we create our mosaic using clay after being inspired by the mosaics, made of small, beautifully colored, shiny tiles, adorning the Byzantine palaces. This workshop teaches us about the Byzantine history and art and helps us develop our dexterity and imagination.

José Sancho does not conceal the voluptuousness of his female torsos; he highlights it. These torsos are symmetrical from front, but on the other hand, from the side, the juxtaposition of concave and convex forms creates dynamism.

Works by a large number of students from the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo deal with current and often painful themes from the socio-political, economic and cultural reality, raising awareness, appealing, warning, opening issues and offering new interpretations.
