The workshop draws inspiration from Vera Molnár, who uses technology as a tool to expand the boundaries of both science and art in her paintings. Children explore electric circuits, motors, and the design process while imagining and creating their drawing robots. By the end of the workshop, as the robots dance freely, making random drawings with the colors chosen by the children, each participant takes pride in having masterfully combined art and science.

About Science Heroes Association
Setting out with the motto ‘Every child is born an inventor’, the Science Heroes Association was established in 2011 to promote and encourage science, scientific thinking, and scientific awareness in all segments of society and to ensure that children and young people meet science early. Since its establishment, the association has brought together more than 70,000 children and young people from 80 provinces. It has also implemented various programs and projects involving thousands of teachers and hundreds of scientists. The Association of Science Heroes aims to disseminate and promote science, scientific thinking, and scientific awareness in all segments of society and ensure that children and young people meet science early.
Istanbul’s Seaside Leisure: Nostalgia from Sea Baths to Beaches exhibition brought together photographs, magazines, comics, objects, and books from various private and institutional collections, and told a nostalgic story while also addressing the change and socialization of the norms of how Istanbulites used their free time. Istanbul’s Seaside Leisure was a documentary testament of the radical transformations in the Republic’s lifestyle.
Our Doublethink Double vision exhibition’s title alludes to George Orwell’s seminal work 1984 and presents a selection that includes Tracey Emin, Marcel Dzama, Anselm Kiefer, Bruce Nauman, Raymond Pettibon, and Thomas Ruff, as well as Turkish artists, tracing the steps of pluralistic thought through works of art.
