Shining Pera: Designing Chandeliers

Pera Kids
Ages 7-12

  • July 20, 2024 / 10:30

Have you ever noticed the old-style chandeliers with shiny crystals at the Museum’s Cafe? One of these chandeliers has been taken upstairs to the exhibition floors to be shown at PƎR Reverse, while a completely different light source was used as its replacement. At this workshop, kids who are inspired by the exhibition design a chandelier of Pera Museum. By using transparent papers, paints and the playful interactions of light, the kids get hands-on experience in working with concepts, such as color theory, transparency, and light.

Instructor: Pley Studio
Capacity: 12 people
Duration: 90 minutes
Fee per workshop: 250 TL

The event will take place in the Pera Museum (face-to-face).
