Stop-Motion: Talking Pictures

Pera Kids
Ages 7-12

  • January 30, 2024 / 13:30

After watching a short segment of the animation inspired by the Pera Museum exhibitions, children accompany the adventures of a time-traveling ambassador and a monkey from the Turkish harem. In the workshop, children draw the mouth movements corresponding to the letters, frame by frame, and then use the stop-motion technique to create animations. The children learn the basics of lip synchronization in animation, adding movement to centuries-old paintings.

Instructor: Ferhat Akbaba
Capacity: 10 people
Duration: 90 minutes
Fee per workshop:250 TL

The event will take place at the Pera Museum (face-to-face).
