  • August 3, 2023 / 13:30

Children learn about the importance of both the science of archaeology and the discovery of important archaeological sites in human history, while learning the mythological meanings of the animal symbols in the exhibition by examining the visuals in the Isabel Muñoz: A New Story exhibition. Then, the children transfer the figures, engraved on stones by people thousands of years ago, onto cloth bags using the wood printing method.

Instructor: Melike Güven
Capacity: 10 people
Duration: 90 minutes
Fee per workshop: 300 TL

The event will take place at the Pera Museum (face-to-face).

Giacometti was selected for three important retrospectives at the New York Museum of Modern Art, the Tate Gallery in London and the Louisiana Museum of Art in Denmark, all of which were a great success.

Paris Without End (1959-1965)

In the 60s, Alberto Giacometti paid homage to Paris, the city where he lived, by drawing its streets, cafés, and more private places like his studio and the apartment of his wife, Annette. These drawings would make up his last book, Paris sans fin (Paris Without End).
