Pera Museum’s Cold Front from the Balkans exhibition curated by Ali Akay and Alenka Gregorič brought together contemporary artists from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia.

French artist Félix Ziem is one of the most original landscape painters of the 19^th century. The exhibition Wanderer on the Sea of Light presented Ziem as an artist who left his mark on 19^th century painting and who is mostly known for his paintings of Istanbul and Venice, where the city and the sea are intertwined. 

Since its inauguration, Pera Museum has been hosting young artists and their works as part of its support of contemporary art. The tradition continued with an exhibition entitled, Encounters, comprising works by the students and graduates of Akdeniz University’s Faculty of Fine Arts.

Pera Museum presented Katherine Behar: Data’s Entry, the first museum survey exhibition of this New York-based artist who moves fluidly between sculpture, performance, video, and writing.

Jameel Prize 4 exhibition in Istanbul organized by the Victoria and Albert Museum, London in partnership with Art Jameel, and in collaboration with the Pera Museum.
