Published by Suna and İnan Kıraç Foundation as part of the Corpus Ponderum Antiquorum et Islamicorum (CPAI) project Prof. Dr. Oğuz Tekin coordinates on behalf of the Turkish Institute of Ancient Archaeology, Suna and İnan Kıraç Foundation Collection in the Pera Museum, Part 1: Greek and Roman Weights presents to researchers 635 Greek and Roman weights preserved. Nearly five thousand other weights registered in the collection and dated to ancient Mesopotamian, Byzantine, Seljuk, and Ottoman periods are also soon to be published as part of the same series.
