Pera Museum continues to collaborate with national and international education institutions to introduce young artists’ and designers’ works to audiences. As part of the Confrontation exhibit held on the 25th anniversary of Yeditepe University, events bring panelists from different disciplines together.
The conversation titled “Gastronomy and Culture” will discuss the relationship gastronomy has with culture and arts.
This meeting will be held on Zoom in Turkish. Reservations are required.

Pera Museum continued to collaborate with national and international education institutions to introduce young artists’ and designers’ works to audiences. Curated by Marcus Graf, Confrontation featured art production by the students and graduates of Yeditepe University Faculty’s Fine Arts on the 25th year anniversary of the university.

Inspired by its Anatolian Weights and Measures Collection, Pera Museum presents a contemporary video installation titled For All the Time, for All the Sad Stones at the gallery that hosts the Collection. The installation by the artist Nicola Lorini takes its starting point from recent events, in particular the calculation of the hypothetical mass of the Internet and the weight lost by the model of the kilogram and its consequent redefinition, and traces a non-linear voyage through the Collection.
Pera Museum’s Cold Front from the Balkans exhibition curated by Ali Akay and Alenka Gregorič brings together contemporary artists from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia.
French artist Félix Ziem is one of the most original landscape painters of the 19thcentury. The exhibition Wanderer on the Sea of Light presents Ziem as an artist who left his mark on 19th century painting and who is mostly known for his paintings of Istanbul and Venice, where the city and the sea are intertwined.
