Pera Kids
Ages 7-12
In this workshop, to explore the fluidity of ink and its effects on surfaces, children apply ink to different surfaces, such as photo paper, textured paper, and glossy paper, by spraying, dripping, and printing techniques to create various layers of ink. Then, they complete their works by making interventions with pencils on their chosen sketches.
Capacity: 10 people
Duration: 90 minutes
Fee per workshop: 400 TL
The event will take place at the Pera Museum.
Men were the first nudes in Turkish painting. The majority of these paintings were academic studies executed in oil paint; they were part of the education of artists that had finally attained the opportunity to work from the live model. The gender of the models constituted an obstacle in the way of characterizing these paintings as ‘nudes’.
