In this selection at the Pera Museum, art enthusiasts got to enjoy the drawings, watercolors and prints by key figures of the 20th century art scene such as Egon Schiele, Gustav Klimt, Pablo Picasso, Otto Dix, Wassily Kandinsky, Matisse, Georges Braque, Marc Chagall, Alberto Giacometti and Oskar Kokoschka. 

Since its inauguration, Pera Museum has been instrumental in promoting young artists and institutions of art education by opening its exhibition floors during the summer. 

Since its establishment, Pera Museum has hosted works by several outstanding artists representing different genres. In 2007, the museum opened its doors to one of the most intriguing creative artists in the world, the Georgian peasant painter Pirosmani.

In 2007, the galleries of Pera Museum welcomed the work of the remarkable artist, Ivan Chermayeff. From the mid-1950s until the end of his life in December 2017, Chermayeff practiced as a graphic designer, in New York with his partner Tom Geismar.
