Amok explores the effects of modern life on individuals and tells the tragic story of a young man named Clyde. After a malicious Santa's elf causes a terrible accident, Clyde loses his fiancée and physical appearance. In the aftermath, he is forced to confront his inner demons.
In 1998 Ben Jakober and Yannick Vu collaborated on an obvious remake of Marcel Duchamp’s Roue de Bicyclette, his first “readymade” object. Duchamp combined a bicycle wheel, a fork and a stool to create a machine which served no purpose, subverting accepted norms of art.
