Faith left the child she had to give birth to after being raped, seven years ago, to her sister. As she expects her second child she wants to take the first one back but her boyfriend and her sister try to give the child up for adoption. Faith’s efforts to gain the trust of her daughter whom she has abandoned are unsuccessful. The only consolidation for Faith experiencing difficulties in accepting her past and present is the doll house of her childhood, the fantasy field where nothing bad can happen and where she played to be a mother...
Coffee was served with much splendor at the harems of the Ottoman palace and mansions. First, sweets (usually jam) was served on silverware, followed by coffee serving. The coffee jug would be placed in a sitil (brazier), which had three chains on its sides for carrying, had cinders in the middle, and was made of tombac, silver or brass. The sitil had a satin or silk cover embroidered with silver thread, tinsel, sequin or even pearls and diamonds.
