In the third instalment of the series, Neo is trapped in a strange limbo between the Matrix and the real world. Morpheus and Trinity rescue him as he struggles to comprehend the limits of his power and come to terms with the possible outcomes of the impending final confrontation. Meanwhile, Zion is under siege by an army of machines, and the human resistance faces the brink of annihilation.

At the same time, Agent Smith evolves into an unstoppable force that threatens the Matrix and the machines' existence. In a climactic showdown, Neo and Smith face an epic battle that will decide the fate of humanity and the system.

In 1998 Ben Jakober and Yannick Vu collaborated on an obvious remake of Marcel Duchamp’s Roue de Bicyclette, his first “readymade” object. Duchamp combined a bicycle wheel, a fork and a stool to create a machine which served no purpose, subverting accepted norms of art.
