From Experience to Memory by Art Therapy

Pera Adult

  • January 14, 2024 / 14:00

Before the workshop led by clinical psychologist and expressive art therapist Suzi Amado, participants take a guided tour of Souvenirs of the Future, where archival/collection objects are reinterpreted from a future-oriented perspective. In the workshop, participants turn a recent experience - which can be a positive feeling as well as a meaningful human connection - into "memories of the future" through art. In the workshop, which aims to create a safe space for sharing, each participant uses different methods such as collage, writing, poetry and music to design works that will be the mediators of remembering.

Instructor: Suzi Amado
Capacity: 10 people
Duration: 90 minutes
Fee per workshop: 200 TL
Fee per workshop for students: 100 TL (Participants are requested to show their student IDs at the entrance.)

The event will take place at the Pera Museum (face-to-face).
