Isabel Muñoz is a photographer dedicated to capturing the essence of Göbeklitepe and its surroundings, believed to be the oldest place of worship in the world. Her photographs transcend mere documentation, capturing ethereal and mesmerizing imagery of astonishing ruins and monumental megaliths that exist in a realm between mystery and artistry. Isabel Muñoz, an intrepid explorer and observer of nature, aesthetics, and diverse cultures, embarked on a photographic journey through Göbeklitepe, Karahantepe and Sayburç – some of Türkiye’s most significant archeological sites.

The workshops focus on dance, storytelling, embroidery, coexistence, artificial intelligence and art while drawing inspiration from the unknowns of ancient human history with an interdisciplinary approach.
Following the opening of his studio, “El Chark Societe Photographic,” on Beyoğlu’s Postacılar Caddesi in 1857, the Levantine-descent Pascal Sébah moves to yet another studio next to the Russian Embassy in 1860 with a Frenchman named A. Laroche, who, apart from having worked in Paris previously, is also quite familiar with photographic techniques.
