Pera Museum Learning Programs organizes photography-themed artist workshops for adults within the scope of Isabel Muñoz: A New Story and Istanbuls Today exhibitions from August 19 to September 17, 2023. Participants are inspired by Isabel Muñoz's photographs, which are entangled with stories that reveal the background of the images, and the exhibition titled Istanbuls Today, which offers a comprehensive look into contemporary visual narratives from various Istanbuls that are shaped and experienced concurrently. Workshops are open to everyone aged 18 and over; focus on black-and-white photography, street and architectural photography, visualization of the sounds of the city through photography, cyanotype printing, portrait photography, and creating a personal point of view in photography.
Tickets for workshops can be purchased from Biletix.
There is a 50% discount for PERAkart FAMILY members.

Isabel Muñoz is a photographer dedicated to capturing the essence of Göbeklitepe and its surroundings, believed to be the oldest place of worship in the world. Her photographs transcend mere documentation, capturing ethereal and mesmerizing imagery of astonishing ruins and monumental megaliths that exist in a realm between mystery and artistry. They humbly pay homage to these majestic scenes.
Henryk Weyssenhoff, author of landscapes, prints, and illustrations, devoted much of his creative energies to realistic vistas of Belorussia, Lithuania, and Samogitia. A descendant of an ancient noble family which moved east to the newly Polonised Inflanty in the 17th century, the young Henryk was raised to cherish Polish national traditions.
A series of small and rather similar nudes Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu and Eren Eyüboğlu produced in the early 1930s almost resemble a ‘visual conversation’ that focus on a pictorial search. It is also possible to find the visual reflections of this earlier search in the synthesis Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu reached with his stylistic abstractions in the 1950s.
