While Athens is in an uproar over a series of murders of prominent Arab businessmen, Dimitris, a young thief, accidentally discovers the identity of the killer, a strange Greek- American woman who was born in Athens and bears the name of Olga Robards. The young man decides that he must get to know this woman at all costs and seeks the aid of the so-called “the Scientist”, a recluse and fugitive from the law who is considered a real authority on crime. They will both meet the killer who turns out to be a charismatic woman on the brink of death.
The Suna and İnan Kıraç Foundation’s Orientalist Painting Collection includes two children’s portraits that are often featured in exhibitions on the second floor of the Pera Museum. These portraits both date back to the early 20th century, and were made four years apart. One depicts Prince Abdürrahim Efendi, son of Sultan Abdulhamid II, while the figure portrayed on the other is Nazlı, the daughter of Osman Hamdi Bey.
A firm believer in the idea that a collection needs to be upheld at least by four generations and comparing this continuity to a relay race, Nahit Kabakcı began creating the Huma Kabakcı Collection from the 1980s onwards. Today, the collection can be considered one of the most important and outstanding examples among the rare, consciously created, and long-lasting ones of its kind in Turkey.
