Pera Film celebrates Pride Week with its film program entitled Companionship As a Site of Resistance.
In the program that brought together four films from different geographies, which met with the audience at important festivals in the past years, the theme of clinging to life together comes to the fore.
Pera Museum is hosting the Greek Film Days, which will take place for the first time in Turkey, where uniqueand award-winning films from auteurs of Greek cinema will be screened. Organized in collaboration with the Greek Ministry of Culture, the Greek Film Center and the Hellenic Film Academy, the program offers a rich selection of 17 films in total, including cult films by auteurs such as Theo Angelopoulos (Reconstruction) and Costa Gavras (Z).
The famous Israeli writer Etgar Keret, is known for combining real and fantastic elements in his short stories that know no boundaries in their creativity. For the first time in Turkey, Pera Film presents a retrospective of Etgar Keret, a well-known short story writer, filmmaker and screenwriter, with a screening program of the films he directed, as well as TV series and films based on his stories.
In the Memorial for the Lost Pages, there are 9 different experimental films that examine the ways of making sense of the world in times of uncertainty, and draw a path from solution to knot, from documentation to creativity by taking the collective memory as a starting point.
