Nedjma spends the summer with her mother and sister. When she meets Zina, a newcomer to the neighborhood, changes begin in her life. They appear to be enemies to each other in public, but they are secretly in love with each other. No one can understand the dilemma of Nedjma, who is caught between her own desires and the beliefs of her surroundings. She will learn about love between women and who she is as a result of the decisions she makes. Besties, Marion Desseigne-Ravel's debut feature, won one of the Best Debut Film awards at the San Francisco International LGBTQ Film Festival, where it was screened.
