The plot occurs around 1925 in Mexico when the Mexican government decides to severely restrict religious freedoms. It is the story of a few rebels, The Cristeros that fight for the right to freely and publicly practice their Catholic faith. The movie follows a few of those rebels with their doubts and their struggles. The movie is loosely based on true historical facts.

Pera Museum Blog is launching a new series of creepy stories in collaboration with Turkey’s Fantasy and Science Fiction Arts Association (FABISAD). The Association’s member writers are presenting newly commissioned short horror stories inspired by the artworks of Mario Prassinos as part of the Museum’s In Pursuit of an Artist: Istanbul-Paris-Istanbul exhibition. The Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo was founded in 1972 as the first Academy of Fine Arts in Bosnia and Herzegovina and became one of the forerunners in Bosnian contemporary art. Academy continued its operation throughout the war years (1992-1995) in besieged Sarajevo and participated in important international art projects.
