In this year's program, two different panels and an online seminar under the title Rethinking the Archive will take place at the Pera Museum on November 14, Sunday, which will include speeches by national and international guests working in the field. In this context, the event aims to problematize the concept of archive and open it up for discussion with guests who are especially experienced in the field of contemporary archive studies and artists working with archive/find-based material.

In 1998 Ben Jakober and Yannick Vu collaborated on an obvious remake of Marcel Duchamp’s Roue de Bicyclette, his first “readymade” object. Duchamp combined a bicycle wheel, a fork and a stool to create a machine which served no purpose, subverting accepted norms of art.
